I'm sorry I forget the name and URL but there is an outfit which does this. You need the VIN and I don't know whether or how much it costs. Anyway, to find it you have to watch some cable TV. They advertise there. Try the weather channel or Discover.<p>99 1.8TQS Tip

No, I checked carfax out and that only provides information since the car was titled -- not bad but I need to know what happened from the manufcturer to the dealer. Thanks though.

It's going to be very difficult to get this information because the dealer and/or manufacturer will not voluntarily surrender this information even though there is a federal law that states the dealer/manufacturer must disclose this info.....If you have any suspicion of damage, ask the dealer to show you the shipping bill of lading, which shows damage between the port and the dealer...also, remind the dealer that you know about the disclosure law...the fine to the dealer is very large!!
