I currently have the Neuspeed/Borla 2.5" system including downpipe. However, I really don't like the Borla muffler. It's a bit too loud in my Avant as the droning comes right up through the floor in the back and into the cabin, and that sandblaster sound at full throttle drives me nuts.

So, would it be cost effective just to get a new muffler put on? If that's feasible, what's a good muffler that sounds aggressive but isn't too loud? What muffler do the APR or new Milltek systems use?

i was thinking about getting a remus to replace it also...but i was worried about the fitting of the neuspeed cat and the remus muffler

You mean the catalytic converter? Or do you mean the whole "Neuspeed Cat-back system"?

But yeah, I was wondering how easy it would be to fit a different muffler on there. Don't know how well it would work.
