replacing a cracked oil pan.. should i try replacing it myself?

do you have a strong jack and a torque wrench?

you may need to lift the engine a few inchs.

Default You'll need a way to lift the engine and ...

the biggest jack-stands you can find. I just did an oil pump replacement on my 1.8T. My writeup is <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2077877.phtml">here</a> The 2.8 is alittle easier I think.
