Repost from last night... I'm getting this annoying thumping noise upfront.
Sounds like its coming in the middle part of my car underneath the floor boards up front. I thought maybe it would be the downpipe hitting my dts, took the bar off and I still get the noise. The downpipe and exhaust are nice and stiff, so thats not the noise, I've been under my car three times now, tried moving things around and noise is loose. what the hell could the thumping noise be. It happens when I get over 80 mph or go over a bump in the road.

are u absolutely sure it ain't the downpipe...your have a mix of exhaust so it is a possibility...
did you check the oil pan, to see if it is loose also...

the rubber mount is on freaking tight too. so I doubt thats it.
Until I get the car on a lift and look around move, I guess I just deal with it, still really annoying. thanks for all your help.
