REPOST quick question: whats the ecu code for a 99.5 1.8T tiptronic NON-dbw?

I just spoke to APR and they confirmed that you should have a '559 C' ecu in your 99.5.

I am going to try to look at mine tonight and let you know.

btw - he also confirmed that a P-box is completely compatable with the 559 C. Regarding you post yesterday - I have no problem with the conditions you stated.

get back to me on what your code is. im a bit hesitant to swap a C for a P, but if we abide by the conditions i told you about, it should be no problem really. also, how do you propose we do payment, so neither of us gets screwed (nothing personal, you understand the need for responsibility though im sure). i have a paypal account, we could do that (id rather not) or you could slide the cash in with the ecu (id prefer this, its easier, less paperwork, and i can guarantee that i wont screw you should there be a problem)

maybe im being paranoid with all this, but you never know. my reputation is well-known around AW, ive done a swap for a stock ecu before (just for a service issue) and the guy (to my total surprise) just trusted me outright and gave it to me with the understanding that i wouldnt screw him over. i didnt, and i paid him a slight fee for being so accommodating.

like i said, in all that babbling, just let me know.
