Are rims worth buying off of ebay?

I wouldn't buy used rims from Ebay
Chances are they will be bent or defective in some way.
You even have to be careful buying new ones, lots of times sellers will unload rims that didn't pass quality inspection. I actually bought a set of rims before that were leaking from the metal. Come to find out they weren't poured properly into the form and the metal had pinholes through it.
Buyer beware.

I don't know its up to you. You can't see them and you can't trust what the seller says
its just like buying anything else off e-bay. You might want to check out the AW classifieds or ask on the regional boards, maybe someone around you has a set...that way you can look at them before you decide.

Sorry I meant at the current price I would walk away already. Unless local and
you could check them out, take them to a shop and spin them etc.
By the time they get shipped ( assuming they go up a little $$ anyway ) you're looking at $700 plus... too much for an unknown product IMHO.
