Availability of OZ Racing Superleggera Wheels

There has been a lot of discussion surrounding the availability and fitment of Superleggera wheels on Audi vehicles. We would like to clarify any misinformation that exists surrounding this wheel with the AudiWorld members.

First of all, the Superleggera has been developed in 17", 18", and 19" applications for Audi vehicles. At this time, the program is still in its infancy and has yet to be completely "rolled out". A very limited supply of 18x8 offset 35 wheels were brought into the U.S. approximately 4 weeks ago, but as experienced by one of your fellow members, these wheels will NOT clear the brakes on the Audi S4, Audi A6 Turbo or V8 vehicles. O.Z. has developed a new 18x8 32mm offset wheel that will properly clear the brakes on the S4 and A6 vehicles. This wheel is presently in a production queue and we are still awaiting a confirmed eta, although we can estimate availability to be sometime in July. As soon as we have confirmed a production date for these wheels, we will post them on the site.

In so far as the 17x8 wheel is concerned, NO 17x8 Superleggera wheels have been delivered to any O.Z. client. The wheels are scheduled to ship from Italy to the US in the next 2 weeks. Upon shipment confirmation, we will post a message on the board.

The 19" applications are still undergoing engineering testing, so we are unable to give an accurate estimation of when this product will be available. Once all testing is complete, we will announce the final weight specifications as well as an availability forecast.

Finally, all O.Z. wheels are supplied with proper mounting hardware (i.e. Center rings, proper bolts)from O.Z. America to the authorized distributor. It is strongly recommended that you purchase your wheels from an authorized O.Z. Distributor or re-seller. A listing of distributors can be found on our website, www.ozwheels.com, and re-sellers can be located by contacting regional distributors.

If any member would like more information, please feel free to contact O.Z. America at sales@ozwheels.com.
