ok so i bring in my car to have my gas tank issue checked out, when i brought it in the service adviser did a walk around to make sure there are no dents etc, well when i go to pick it up theres a big dent on my bumper, i didnt see it til i got home though. I tried calling the service dept but they were closed. I went straight home after i picked up ther car so there was no way it happened on the way home. The service adviser did say that they took my car out to refuel it and check to see what was happening, I could only pump one or one and a half gallon of gas before it shuts off, so im figureing that is when they put the dent on the bumper.

Who here has gotten their car damaged by the dealer and got them to pay for damages. What did you have to do. I was at evowerks this weekend and i was 100 percent positive that there was no dents on it and have pics to prove it. Because i left the lot before i saw the damages will i be SOL?? And if they say we didnt do it what should i do next? Get a lawyer??

I was also sure that they did it. The dealer kept saying that it happened before I got there. I told them I was absolutely sure it was not there when I brought it in and it happened while in there posession. They fixed as what they call a "Goodwill Fix". That was also after I drived it off the lot and called them the next day.
