Default Rust and moisture in trunk

Hello
My trunk lining, spare wheel cover and the roof of the trunk is wet. There was a puddle in my spare wheel well and it rusted through. I checked all weather stripping and didn't find any weak points or leaks. Are there any leaky points in b5 sedan?

Sunroof?
Drain tubes are on each side that run down the C pillar and out into the wheel well. Could be clogged or disconnected.
Also, your tail light gaskets could have dried out/shrunk letting water into the trunk.

Try climbing into the trunk with a flashlight while someone douses your car with a hose.

Thanks! I don't have a sunroof, but I will try the hose method.

Check your tail lights. I had the same issue where rain would enter through my left tail light when parking on an incline. Fixed it by applying "3M 08578 Black 1' Strip Calk" to the inside of the light housing. There was no visible air gap, so I applied plenty of strip-calk and had no more water issues.

Possible the roof of your trunk is wet due to condensation with all the moisture building up in wheel well.
