Default S4 vs. Street H&R coilovers...........

I just received my H&R coilovers today from AWE, however I ordered H&R street but received H&R S4 coilovers, I choose street to try and keep a comfortable ride since I won't be tracking the car. My question is, is the difference between the 2 that noticable, if I am concerned with comfort(to a degree), should I keep the S4 coilovers or return for the Street coilovers, anyone that can shed some light on this is appreciated. I did search the archives but really could not answer my question. Thanks.

Default hell thats an upgrade in my book

they'll be a bit stiffer, but if i were going to get h&r coilovers, i would want s4 or a4 ultra. thats just me. maybe try to find somebody who has s4 coilovers around you to get a ride. or email michael kim @purems.com (info@purems.com) and ask him what the spring rate differences are. i dont know off hand

Default keep s4 COs.. street = 395/395.. s4 = 450/450

street A4 COs have spring rate of 395f/395r

s4 COs have spring rates of 450f/450r
so, not even that much of a dif.

however, everyone who has the streets say they are too soft. and the s4 ones are "just perfect"

keep em, you will be happy.

Default If comfort is your primary concern, A4 coilovers.

If you want the firmer ride, S4 coilovers. The difference is minor, so the decision should be based on which has the higher priority in your book...comfort or performance.

Default no problems at all? do you live in an area w/no potholes? ...

i was considering going s4 h&r cos... but im having second thoughts if you say the ultras are bearable...

maybe i should get a4 ultras? i think the a4 ultras are 595f/595r
and the s4 ultras are 650f/650r

keep in mind i live in san diego, pothole city.
