Default S6 Avus wheel question.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/5393/konivogt.jpg"></center><p>
Will it clear my car okay?

I've got 16" swings on it at the moment. A quick search on the net yields a 7" width and 45mm offset. The 17" S6 wheels are 8" and an offset of 35mm. Online calculator tells me I'll lose 3mm of clearance on the inside and will push the wheels out 23mm. :-\ They are NOT the same as B5S4 wheels. The S6 wheels are wider. (7.5" vs. 8")

Am I gonna rub? (Loose 1 finger (F) and 2 finger gap in the rear) Pic is how the car sits at the moment.

Eh, looks like the 8" width will rub to no end.

Default I don't see the issue here?

You are saying the S6 wheels are 17x8" with 35mm offset, right?

That's exactly the same as my BBS RK's. I have no issues with them fitting whatsoever. I am running 225/45/17 tires which look a bit stretched tho, need wider tires next time.

Default Worried because the car is lowered.

I dunno...3mm doesn't sound like a lot, but it probably is. And 23mm wider...I'd have to say they'd rub.

Ack. The standard tires for those are 255/40/17. That's big.

eh, almost all aftermarket wheels for B5's are 35 offset, and most of them are 8" wide too.

That doesn't sound right....255/40/17 is a 8.5 Min to 10 Max wheel width.

Default Maybe a typo. I'm thinking 225/45/17s with the 8" wide rims will look right.

No stretching or fat-looking. Right?

The 225/50/16s on my 7" swings look a bit on the 'fat' side.
