Same problem at first please read!!!
I swapped my ECU with thier ECU, and the revisions were different between years on the car.
I had a N or M and they gave me a P, check engine light was on, last year Audi had made 4 different revisions of ECU's, luckly I ended up getting my original back and had them modify mine.
Are you sure that the one you got back was in fact yours, if you did a swap out, did another company sell you a Autothority chip (1552 Design, GPR, etc.) or did you go directly to them?
I didn't realize this and actually got the wrong one sent back to me, and the other person that day at the event ended up getting the wrong one, This is a case the people dealing with many ECU's got them mixed up. Thank god, the guy who got mine and noticed it wasn't his, had the serial number written down.
