Scratch Question

Hey Guys,
I was going home last night, and I ended up driving a little close to a tree. No Big deal except one of the branches kind of reaches out and hit the passenger side of my a4. Got home checked for damages, no scratches on the actual body or windows of the car, but on the black plasic piece between the passenger side front an back door, the piece between the windows has a nice kind of black acrylic tone of it.
I already tried scrubbing at it with some water, but no luck. Is there anyway to remove it or minimize the scratch? I guess I should consider myself lucky, but I'm just kind of an **** person. I want to keep the car looking as good as possible. Even though I know its bound to get worse door dings, scratches, etc sooner or later. =( THanks guys!

Bring it to a place that details...
depending on how deep the scratch is they should be able to compound that and buff it out. You may still see it but it will be a lot less noticable. I work for a detailer and thats about all that can be done.
