Default Scratch Question

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/56641/103_0379.jpg"></center><p>Hey Guys,

I was going home last night, and I ended up driving a little close to a tree. No Big deal except one of the branches kind of reaches out and hit the passenger side of my a4. Got home checked for damages, no scratches on the actual body or windows of the car, but on the black plasic piece between the passenger side front an back door, the piece between the windows has a nice kind of black acrylic tone of it.

I already tried scrubbing at it with some water, but no luck. Is there anyway to remove it or minimize the scratch? I guess I should consider myself lucky, but I'm just kind of an **** person. I want to keep the car looking as good as possible. Even though I know its bound to get worse door dings, scratches, etc sooner or later. =( THanks guys!

Default Klasse All-in-One

has been known to be effective on those panels. A few applications may help minimize the effect.

Default Probably any glaze worked into it well will take care of that.

3M IHG, One Grand Omega Glaze, Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze...If it's a little more stubborn than I'm assuming from the pic, I'd then use One Grand Special Touch. I get superficial scratches on the B pillar every now and then too (I can never figure out how), and Omega glaze always takes care of them.

Default Re: Scratch Question

Not sure if it's different on 1.8s, but on my 2.8 the B-pillar is painted aluminum. Couldn't you just do the same procedure to take off scratches as you would with any other scratch on the body of the car?

Default plexus

assuming the panel as you described is plastic, try Plexus plastic polish...<ul><li><a href="http://www.properautocare.com/plexus.html">http://www.properautocare.com/plexus.html</a</li></ul>
