Default Second Flasher Failure. Where is the 01C designation? TIA

I have a 2001.5 1.8T and have had the flasher replaced TWICE.
Since I am now out of warrantee its a bit annoying.
Here the question:
Where does one find the "01C" designation?
The flasher I removed has a stamp on the black plastic that looks like "043"
I am suspicious that this is a code for an older flasher.
full code is 8D0 941 509 H ???

Default Re: Second Flasher Failure. Where is the 01C designation? TIA

I just noticed that the circuit board inside is dated 1999 (14.09.99).
Could Audi have replaced the original flasher module with the same faulty module?
