Default Service Dept. coaching!!!

Anyone else tired of the coaching from your service dept. on what to tell AOA when they call?? They spent more time telling me what to say and how to rate service than what they did to my car. Also, what are other dealerships doing as far as "service loaners"? I got stuck with a rental Sentra last week and I was pretty unhappy. Just wonderin....

Unfortunately it is not just Audi, all manufacturers are gunning to top CSI honors-so they coach customers what to say in the telephone and written surveys. This is true for sales and service alike. The best is to be honest, if you got teh service you expected, on time, and at the price you were quoted, give them top score, if not give them what they deserve. My local dealer gives A6 loaners when scheduled, and tries to acomodate best as possible when an emergency pops up. Either way I have never been without a car. I believe Audi pays dealers $30 towards a rental/loaner. In most cities, Enterprise will rent a pretty decent car (better than a Sentra) for that amount.

Yup, I got sick of it too. I was stuck in a crappy used 97 Jetta. Worst car I ever drove.
