if the car is 98.5-up.push the cluster button in the right side in,turn key on,display should say
"oil",now pull the button in the left cluster,dis-play should say"---",now push the button on the right in,display should say "insp",now pull button on left,display should say "---",turn key off.note:00-01'cars are a little different,on those cars,push button on right cluster in,turn key on,push button on left in,sevice mileage will now advance
