Service reminder light inquiry.
Does anyone know if you can manually reset the oil and ln1 reminder lights on a 98 A4, or do you need a vag-tool to do it? In the tech section there is a method outlined that describes how this can be done manually (press odom. reset, turn key, pull dimmer switch, etc.), but I have a sneaking suspicion that this only works on the 98.5 and newer models. Anybody have any ideas?
