Default Service time....

ok, I'm at about 89K on my audi....bought it at 83, and I am gonna have the timing belt done this upcoming week....should i do the water pump too, i hear alot of people say they did them together....i have no clue as to the previous service records of the car.....what do you all recommend? TIA

You're already paying someone to pull everything apart to get in there...may as well do the water pump as well.

Wow...that's a lot o miles for a 2001!

ALWAYS do the pump when doing the timing belt.

I know it is up there on the miles, but thats the only reason i can afford this car as a starving grad student...

Default If digital is up for it, we can make a monster garage session out of your car...

I'd like to see what's involved...as would silver streakin I'm sure (he's getting close to TB time). The tech article on the 2.8 makes it sound pretty straightforward...but it always helps to have somebody around that's been through it already. Makes things go much smoother.
