shift knob mod question

shift **** mod question
does any1 kno, or remember how to do the shift **** mod with the tiptronic transmission? Something about a sharpie pen to disengage the shift lock by pulling up on the shifter. I'm trying out different mods, but if this one is better..i'd rather use this than mine. Thanks

What I did...
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/8939/shifter.jpg"></center><p>Is take apart the original and reuse the button mechanism I had to hand-carve two pieces of burl to match along a curve, it was a pain but here it is
An earlier version had a pin through it which went through the shift lock engage (white nylon shaft). I actually ended up breaking part of the white nylon shaft.
