Is the shipping plug for ecodes on the top right in this pic?

nope... thats what I rigged up in place of it
the shipping plug is a white plastic piece that clips into the housing. Funny thing is that I was replacing one of my halogen euro's with a xenon one and took out the plug from the halogen housing and used it. So see if anyone has the piece from trashed housings or something.

maybe the housing itself isn't secured.
with the hood up try moving the housing. If it moves its definitely not secured all the way. This happens because with the pre 99.5 there is no 3rd screw holding the housing in. try cranking that large black screw type thing on the bottom of the housing so it presses against the radiator support. This should stop the vibrating.
you can see the screw i'm talking about in this pic. its to the left of the larger cover, with the teflon tape around the threads.
