Should I be concerned?
The metal mesh around the flexpipe (not sure of correct terms) Anyway.. is coming off the exhaust pipe. Can it be left alone or should I have it fixed??

Mine looks identical. I told my wife that it's critical for me to get a new Borla exhaust...
but she didn't believe me.
If left alone, it will eventually fall apart from what I understand. I have also heard that some get it welded up. I was quoted $120.00 for a new flex pipe and $120.00 labor to install.

I had the same problem. . .
It has to be repaired, and it is called the flex pipe, like you had said. Your car will quiet down a lot, and you'll have proper back pressure.

Not to mention, I think my turbo just crapped out on me
I used to peak at 17 psi with APR chip. No I peak at about 12-13psi. When I am in boost I get a metallic sound. Sounds like a plane taking off. Not sure if it's that flex pipe or the turbo also...

Took it to the dealer. . .
At the time, the car was only two weeks old in my hands, and the indy shop I took it to said they couldn't get the part for me without marking it up. So I took it to the dealer, and it looks like the replaced it cat back, cut the pipe off a little after the flex joint, then clamped it together to make a solid pipe again.
