Default should i get an alignment with bad rear sway links?

anyone know if the rear sway links need to be in good shape when doing the rear alignment? long story short, i want to get my alignment done before a long drive (to save my front tires), but my rear sway bar links are shot (lots of play). i have some coming, but will not have them until after my trip...

should or shouldn't? I thought sway bars and links didn't matter for alignment

Since people (me included) swap bars/bushings/links without alignments, I think you'll be fine
