Should I just skip the chip and go bigger with a K04?
I've been thinking, it's gonna cost $500 to chip with GIAC or APR. I already have an exhaust and upgrading to K04 will *only* cost $1700 from AWE. I mean, it might be worth it just to go that route. Then again, I have 92,000 miles. Am I better off seeing how my engine responds to more boost off stock turbo?

go for it. I upgraded to KO4 when I have 89K on the engine.
Now I have 96K and no problems so far (engine wise). Also, I have a 99.5. It is up to you, definately a nice improvement over just a chip setup. Just get a compression test if you are worried.
