Default Should I use NEVR DULL on my A4 Stock wheels??

Guys, some grime and it looks like rust has built up on my stock wheels. Can NEVR DULL help me out with removing it?? What precautions should I take and maybe I should wax afterward??

thanks!!

Default The most effective cleaning agent I've found, other than soap and water, is a claybar.

It will remove most crap that has adhered to your wheel, but it can not remove redeposited brake dust (little black spots), and it won't do anything for pitted and damaged wheels.

Isn't never dull a metal polish? Probably not a good idea to use something like that on a painted and clearcoated wheel.

Default What gets rid of the brake dust dots?

That's a real PITA.

Default Nothing that I've found so far...

best thing you can do is preventative maintenance (wash your wheels frequently, and wax them regularly). That will prevent the dust from bonding to the wheel, but once it does, it's a royal PITA to remove. Nothing I've tried so far has really worked.

Default Tried that...no dice...

also tried a solvent called Oil Flow Safety Solvent (recommended by carcareonline for removing wheel weight adhesive)...no dice.

If I had some toluene, I would try that too!
