I was showing someone my car the other day and mentioned the side airbags. I hadn't really looked at this before. I noticed that there is a tag on the edge of the seat back that says "Airbag" on it, but where exactly is the airbag and how does it deploy? I couldn't see any obvious panel or flap from which the bag shoots out. How does it work?<p> Doug G<br> 98.5 1.8TQM

I don't know how it actually deploys, but I'm guessing that the seam in the seat splits and the airbag comes out of there. Maybe somebody would be willing to have their car wrecked so we could document how it deploys. :-)<p>Matt
