His first race he ticked off one of the veterans(forget who), and now that spectacular wreck

GREAT first week on the new job if you ask me. He even worse than Montoya was.

I've seen guys get into the wall in qualifying, but never nearly as bad as that

Agreed. The COT held up extremely well though, he got out...and walked away waiving.

that says something about that chassis.

yes. that was a hard, hard hit. not enough cautions for Jr. and many others to fix their cars

throughout the race. basically, just those who got lucky with setups stayed on teh lead lap. only about 10, IIRC. still not bad finishing 12th. and Gordan -- dead last!
