Since I'm getting StopTechs, I'm itchin' from some track time. How about an A4 showdown at Mid Ohio?

Default Since I'm getting StopTechs, I'm itchin' from some track time. How about an A4 showdown at Mid Ohio?

Since this track season is almost over and it's too close to get everyone to schedule an open weekend, I was thinking about a central location between the Chicago/Midwest crew and Philly/NY/NJ crew to meet up at Mid Ohio.

Does anyone know what chapter of the Audi Car Club/Quattro Club went to Mid Ohio this past summer? I searched, but couldn't find it.

I was thinking that since there are now a bunch of A4s with PES T28, APR S3, GIAC/AWE K04 and GIAC XR K03 and some custom 2.0L cars out there with owners who are of different driving skills, I think we should "all" plan to do the Mid Ohio HPDS next summer and have an A4 ShootOut.

I only say this because I will finally be able to brake the way I want to with StickerBoy's StopTechs making their way on my A4 soon :-) I probably won't have a big turbo kit by then, but I still want to play on the track with the big boys.

quick list that I can think of:
me
Liam of Montreal
WYSIWYG
RAD69
DigitalA4
MarkBradford
StickeryBoy
Steve@Motorpersona
SameerP
turbodog vh
ray kahn

who else? I know I must forgetting a few people with big turbo kits and/or people who track or want to track their A4s that could make the drive to Mid Ohio.

thoughts?

I think the ACCNA went last year in June. I'm not sure if next year's schedule is posted yet.

Default I have never track except 1/4mile. Sounds fun though.

I'm in Ohio let me know... Is it hard? What mods does your car have to have to do it?

Default I checked last night on the way back from Cincy and MidOhio is only 1 hr. away..

from my house. I'd love to go too. No big turbo kit yet. But I'm a drive for a living so that makes me a professional right. J/k but that is what they tell us.

Default yes. next year's Mid Ohio event via the ACCNA aka Quattro Club. just trying to plan ahead and make

this a big A4 track event.

I've never been to Mid Ohio, but others who have been there tell me that it's a fun track like the Glen and VIR.
