Default Snub mount installation difficulties

Whilst attempting to install an APR snub mount this weekend, I failed to remove my front bumper. Following the directions on APR's website proved fruitless, as well as prior posts. I beg for any help you can provide for this task.

Default at what point did you get stumped on the bumper removal..

what i do is pull too far up on to those idiot parking stops and then back up... J/k after you have all the screws out for the bottom cover and the wheel well covers you have to firmly grasp it at the sice just infront of the wheel well and with pulling in the proper direction which i cant recall right now it should come out of its groves and then your free

You push back, then down quickly.

Default I just went through same thing...

It takes an unnerving amount of force to pull the bumper out of its track, if you loosen the wheel well liner you can look in with a light and see better the track that you have to get it off of. I took some pics and i can post those later on tonight.

Getting the mount on is also big PITA. Stick the mount in the housing and wedge it back in place and then just tighten the bumper shock bolts to get it into place. Don't forget to dremel the mount so you dont get any vibration.

Default R & R of front bumper cover.......

Went through this on our 30v, doing a t-belt replacement job. First, remove and unhook the driving lights, washer hoses, 2 allen head bolts holding the cover on. Slide the cover away from the car and the clips on the sides should be somewhat exposed. Take a long flat head screwdriver and pry one of the clips lose from the cover(don't use alot of force here). Once you've got one of the clips loose, it pulls off easily. Good luck.

Also, which area of the unit will need to be ground down? Thanks for helping.

Default pull firmly means as hard as you possibly can

Default towards the wheel itself and away from the car worked for me, not sure if that

is how anybody else did it, didnt damage the car at all, good luck. for such a cheap part its a pretty big pain.
