that's one reason I didn't switch over
I got all excited about it and when I was talking to a "MasterTech" 2yrs ago at waterfest this is what I was informed. He said that the cf helps absorb some of the stress put on the driveshaft but Audi didn't see much gains. That's why it's back to a standard heavey steel one.

Yea. I see no real advantage to have the CF driveshaft.....
it's not an upgrade, but if you have one that's noisy, or think you're high mileage, the two I have are good - center bearings, end joints, etc.
