So the car's at the dealer today... 40k service
faulty fuel gauge/sender/bob (sender replaced already, so likely it's the bob). Other than that, std 40k service... can't wait to get out of this damn civic(loaner).
Mash the pedal and you go no where... the seats suck, steering sucks, stereo is surprisingly acceptable considering...

nyaa nyaaaa...I got a 3.0 B6 Avant for my 40K!

Also getting a host of oil leaks fixed. Breather hose, turbo return line, oil pan.
Funny thing was, on the way to work, I was thinking how much better the suspension on the Avant is compared to a Honda. :-P

a gray '02? I've had that loaner. my fav was a GMC Sanoma that I took offroad in a housing
construction site and then got lost in the fields behind it. I almost got it stuck in some small stream.

minor update... they don't think it's the sendor, or the float since both have been replaced..
they looked at the fuel tank a bit more and decided that the tank is somehow damaged... go figure. =) So they're replacing the tank which is going to take a couple of days at least since the part is not stocked locally. So... civic loaner likely till friday, JOY! =(
