I believe Neil answered a similar question a few days ago...
..apparently it went like this:
DonP has had LidaTek for a while, Neil just recently got it.
Neil was very satisfied with the product and asked if they could "test" their product. He was invited to their facility to do so. Neil then suggested that they advertise.
Sell out? I don't really think so--it's advertising and it's what keeps this site running.

and the Caddy got much more screen time than the Audi in the Matrix... they must have sold out too!
Do you think the directors used the Caddy because they think it's a cool car. Nope. I bet that Caddy said "we'll help you offset those millions in production costs if you use our car in the chase scene."
