I talked to Jason Gelinas there and he told me that the Greedspeed VBL (variable boost level) chip is also programmed by Neuspeed and is made exclusively for Greedspeed. It changes boost between 0.8 and 1.0 bar so that it has more torque. He also told me that Greedspeed really doesn't recommend using the VBL chip because they don't recommend using 1.0 bar of boost on a K03 turbo. Jason recommended that I just stay with teh Neuspeed chip if I am concerned about the life of the turbo. Anyways, just thought this new chip is pretty interesting.

That doesn't make much sense..So they have a chip made exclusively for them but they don't recommend that their customers buy it? Why would they say that?

Well I think they made it for Anthony's car...it's in a funny state of limbo right now. As it currently sits he's got an Avant with a K03 but a huge *** Spearco (their kit) intercooler sitting behind an S4 bumper. Because of the intercooler he can get away with a tad more than most might...so maybe they whipped up this chip as an interim solution for the Avant until it gets the GS4 kit put in.

anything over 0.8 bar will really shorten the life of the turbo. Jason told me that the K03 is rated to a max of 1.0 bar, and it really stresses the turbo to make it operate at max spec. Not recommended.
