Default So i have this buddy, he's a vw/audi tech ... he says he can ...

tune my a4, with all the stock components and make it run the 225hp settings that the tt runs.

Is this possible?

Because if it is I would think more people would do it ... ?

Any pros and cons?

Thanks guys

Default Tell him to "tune" the ***** out of his ***! Dont listen to this guy...he's a moron....

If you want more power...please go with a reputable tuner....not some momo who *thinks* he knows whats going on. BTW, just because he's and Audi/VW tech doesnt mean he is smart/knows his stuff. There are Techs that know their stuff inside and out (GTIVR62801 + Audi for example)...but them there are ALOT that have their heads up their asses. Go with a tuner who is closest to you (GIAC/Dahlback/APR/Revo) and be happy knopwing your car wont blow up. =)

Default not w/o programming, 5bar FPR, and gutting the k03 to emulate the k04

Unless you can push the k03 to that limit as we do with the k04's.

Default I think you need to get a chip. It won't get you what he claims, but it will be better than stock

The chip will give you what you are looking for I believe. And you have an automatic too, right? I would just chip that ECU and call it a day.
