I have a Forge 007, and thought there would be an audible chirp when I shift at full boost. I haven't been able to hear anything. I know it does perform (even though slightly) better, so at least doing so had benefit.

Just wondering though... would it matter if the DV was not greased up enough? How can I tell if it needs to be greased?

And while I'm on the grease subject, where do you buy your Mobil 1 high temp. grease from that Forge suggests you use?? I've looked, and can't seem to find it (I live in Canada, so don't have some of the same places as you guys in USA). Thanks!

I don't know how the A4's respond.. but the GTI did.

Just watch for boost spikes. I did this with less that satisfactoy results.

That, and whether or not you have an intake, and how much boost you push. I have and Evolution Motorsports BPV which is a piston type, an intake, and a chip, and I definately hear a pretty loud pshsssst when shifing under boost.

I think I've read here that the piston type makes a louder sound. Search to be sure.

I DO have a pshsssssss sound, but my friend who has a GTI made a loud chirp right before that. He's got the same DV as me.

That's why I was wondering if it mattered if the DV was greased.
