Default brakes are easier to do on 944's than our A4's

brakes are the least of your worries

Default my cousin has a 944na.....nice ride....u should also check....

to see if ur oil cooler seals are shot....that is a problem the 944s tend to have....
check ur coolant cap....if it has this milkshake look on it (like whip cream or something on the cap) then u have oil leaking into ur coolant
u'll need to replace ur seals then and depending on how long the leak has gone on for u might need to flush out the system
changing the seals is about 4 hours of labor...
my cousin just had his seals changed....his miklshake stage was pretty bad

Default I had a 944S as a weekend toy until recently-They are affordable-but parts are still a little pricey

You can pick up a decent S (187hp) for $6K, and a decent regular 944 (150hp) for $3-4K.

My 944S was so much fun, good power and the handling was incredible once I put some 17" 996 rims on it. Had to sell it a while back due to being unemployed (but soon as I sold it, I got a job....figures).

Default Agreed, brakes were easy on my 944S, and they worked very well.

Only issues was that the parking brake is a drum brake INSIDE the hat of the rear discs. Crazy, compicated setup. But then you should never have to replace the parking brake shoes (except my came with a non-operating rear drum, so I had to deal with it.
