Default So I was thinking instead of registering my car in new york,

I'd find another state close by that doesn't take points from other states, get a PO box in that state, and register it there.

Default you get into an accident, you are fvcked

insurance companies have caught on to these scams. In case anything major happens to your car, they will investigate you, and you will get $0. Do not mess with insurance - they are the biggest scumbags.

Default That's funny because I have thought about that also, however

I think you would run into problems with registration and insurance if you don't have a home address. I find it hard to believe that they would allow you to do that with a PO.

Default it's a shame to pay $800 A MONTH for insurance

but PO Box won't cut it. I HEARD that some people just use their friend's or family adress instead. I, of course, do not approve of such practices, and I think that the insurance companies are wonderful, altruistic institutions, and paying $800 a month for insurance is fair...
