Default Too bad it's a 4 post lift.. You need to get a 2 post lift...

Not that I have one, but that's all I'd have. When I build my barn, it's getting a 2 post lift.

How are you going to pull the engine with the car sitting on it's wheels?

Default Yeah, but even those are a PITA with a car....

you end up reaching over the ramps teh whole time. A buddy of mine used to have those in his shop, they sucked for anything not centered between the ramps.

4 post is great for car storage. 2 post offset is the best for actual work but sucks for storage.

Default Why does it suck for storage? Just curious, I have no opinion...

I don't intend to use my lift for storage.. =)

Default i would think the best shop setup would be a combination of both

the drive ons are a lot quicker for oil changes and easy stuff. One thing that I did like about them was that you could have the car in the air and jump up on the lift and work on the top and bottom at the same time a lot easier.
