So I'm at this bar last night with my friends and I get on the subject of 911 Turbos somehow
I was looking at a Car and Driver issue earlier, so 505 ft-lbs @ 2100RPM was fresh on my mind. Anyway, this smoking hot bartender overhears me and says that that car gives her the impression the driver is trying to make up for the lack of something else. I assured her that my interest is in the driving experience. Now, being my usual ignorant self, my impression of this chick at that point was "she's got no class".
A few beers later, I get on the subject of my A4. She hears that and says "Audis are the best". I'm thinking "WHOA RLY?" and she tells us she has a 2005.5 A4. Not only that, but this is her 3rd A4. She had a silver 1999.5 and a 2003.. ALL MANUAL! Now I'm thinking "this chick has got class". We talked more about A4s here and there, and she's not into mod'ing or DIY, but certainly appreciates the quality and finish of these cars. Of course, I gave her my number and I'm sure she won't call, but it's funny how I find good taste in cars a pretty attractive quality in a woman.

One of the reasons (among many) that I married the woman I did. ;-)
She refuses to drive an automatic.
Sees no point in buying a car unless it's the top of the line with all the go fast factory options. *Constantly wonders why ANYONE would possibly buy a standard Mini and not a Cooper S... and will not be shy to indicate that buying one with an slushbox auto is simply unacceptable*
COMPLETELY understands my need to mod cars. (while she prefers stock for the simplicity)
She's sweet, cute, athletic, works damn hard, loves to travel at the drop of a hat and loves to go *real* camping and get dirty. What more could a guy want?!!
She's in Norway running a marathon and then trekking/camping for a week with a good friend right now... I miss her - hence the blog above. ;-)

lol, yeah, cell phones with cameras are still kind of new to me, so I wasn't thinking like that
