An older gent drives up in a Caddy (89 Seville perfect shape), and walks up to a nice green A6 2.8. He had seen an A6 on the road, liked it, and stopped by the dealer. He asks me if I know anything about these cars. So we strike up a conversation. I pretty much explained to him everything I have learned in this forum. He asked me if the 2.8 would perform like his caddy (4.6 decent power) I casually point to the 2.7T right next to it, saying "no but that one sure will, and once you drive an Audi, you'll be hooked".

He's going back tomorrow morning to drive it, so it's a pretty safe bet he'll buy it. It was a beautifull Santorin blue with tan leather...is that the A6's name for that color?

I'll be looking for him on the road.

BTW, all they had were solid onyx interiors on all the A4's. I don't like it, I haven't seen an onyx-ecru one yet, but so far I'm favoring opal.
