how much should I expect to pay? I'm debating doing it at all, as when I get rid of this car I will likely just trade it in if things come together in the timeframe I'm expecting them to.
No pics because work comp doesn't have bluetooth.

for a cheap fix call ...
around to your local car dealers and find out who they use to spot paint cars on their lot. Those guys can work miracles on bumpers and other high-wear places. Schedule a time to meet him somewhere on his route.

If going cheap paint shop ...Maaco is the ticket
I used Scheib for a cheap repaint on my Regal and the paint would chip if you looked at it wrong . I've had friends work for Maaco and others that used them for repaints . If you do good body work and prep and then drop off the car they will do a pretty good job for you. An MG was dropped off stripped of all trim and weatherstrips ,the seat ,lights were removed by friend in the lot . The job was decent , two small sags on lower quarter ,but good coverage and finish. Because the car was ready for paint when dropped they took the time the extra time they are allowed per car to do a good job. Only about $400 for an entire car and some interior spraying with special price. Most people couldn't believe it when it placed at British car show in Cleveland the following summer,my friend had a good laugh when telling the guys who spent thousands on paint and body. I've considered having them do both my bumpers if our bodyshop at work won't match their price.
