Some lady pulls up next to me at a red light and asks if I'd sell her my car...
Last night I was driving downtown with a friend in my just-washed A4. I didn't notice the woman in the car to my right until my passenger told me she was waving frantically. He rolls down the window.
"What kind of car is that"? she asks. I tell her it's an Audi A4. "It's beautiful"! she exclaims with a look of awe on her face. The light green, I thank her, wave, and take off.
Two blocks down the street, we stop at another red light. She pulls up beside me again and rolls down the window.
"Do you want to sell your car"? she asks.
Chuckling, I reply "No, but I'm sure you can find one just like it at the dealership". (Ok, so I lied, the ones at the dealership won't look quite like mine.)
Light turns green and we go our separate ways. My passenger and I have a good chuckle about it. He thought it was all pretty weird and that I should have asked her to make an offer. Heh, no way dude, I'm never selling this car. I didn't expect him to understand, but then again, he's not an Audi fanatic.
