01 with symphony radio non-bose. My front door speaker was blown to bits and the outer foam was almost all gone. So I replace both fronts with new Infinty speakers 5.25 and the front driver side still has static blown sound. The driver side sounded great before and sounds great now its just the passenger side. Any idea's what the problem is here? Could the radio be causing this distortion? I will probably try swapping the two front speakers and see if the problem follows the speaker but has anyone had an issue with the symphony radio actually causing distortion and static?

my sym I radio died on me. I would scan the radio to see if it is throwing any codes.

I think it is #56 to see if there are any DTC's stored. When I scanned mine I was getting intermittant communication loss which basically meant the radio was dying.
