Default Re: DonP: How is the chip survey going? Posting results soon?

Workin' on it. Had family pop in for a short (extended) visit so it cut into my computer time. Should be done soon.

Default speaking of stoneguard/invincashield (more)

has anyone had any of these products installed, very, very recently? maybe on a 99.5? also, can anyone recommend a detailer/body shop/dealer in the ny/nj/conn area. i was thinking of having this done as soon as my car comes in, but, i don't want to bring my car into a shop and have them experiment on me.

Default Griots carries Special 2" and 4" clear protective "shild" clear material-->

I have not seen if offered in their web-site, but I've seen it for sale by the foot in 2" and 4" widths. They also have a thicker material for headlights. You have to custom cut it.
With it, they reccomend "positioning" spray and squegee. Some Saabs have a similair material on the leading edge of the hood.
Call Griots: 800-345-5789

Default StonGuard

The only authorized retailer in the NY/NJ/CT area is in Connecticut (from last I've heard). It's been a while since I've spoken to them but the job will require the car to be with them for most of the day. Call the toll-free number on the StonGuard website and ask them for the name of this dealer.
