speeding ticket help
I got pulled over at 8:15AM on October 14 for doing 93 in a 70. The officer took my liscense and registration, walked back to his car and came back about 15 seconds later. He had no ticket and said have a nice day. I was thinking "cool, no ticket." But a couple days ago I receive the ticket in the mail! Over a month and a half after I was stopped. On my other tickets I've always had to sign on the line that says "defendants signature" but on this ticket it says "investigation" on that line. I've had my other tickets dropped because they weren't filed in the 72 hours or whatever after being given. Do you think this is the case with this one? Or would a ticket be sitting around for a month and a half. I'm thinking about going to court on this one too...
Oh, and the ticket was for $162.00. What do you guys think I should do about this?

talk to a friend who is a cop Or talk to a friend who knows people who are, and if they are willing to talk to the person who pulled you over he/she may be to busy to show up in court.
