And if you're concerned at some point that you're stressing the motor (going up a steep hill in 110 degree heat) you could always just dial the boost back down.

Further, not everyone has access to, say, 92 or 93 octane (fortunately 93 is the norm here); some areas only have 91 as their "premium" grade fuel. This will compound any ill-effects (I would think) if someone runs 1bar and 91 octane all the time. Running leaner at higher boost levels on lower grade fuel can't be good. Just a thought.
Come on REALLY...... The stock computer DOES NOT HAVE that much leadway.... And you have NOT even addresses the issue or ignition timing....
