SPP Downpipe 1.8TQ Questions:
Hey all, I just got my SPP Downpipe today, I'm planning on getting it installed, but before that, I'd like to have a few questions answered if possible:
1) O2 sensors....Do I need to worry about lengthening the 02 wires and moving them to another location?
2) What is the best way to get at those pesky cat-downpipe bolts? I can't seem to even see the cat with the car lifted up. What size are they in the event I need to replace them?
Just took it to Monroe Mufflers and they took a look at it and said they can't do the install.

answeres..
1) O2 sensors....Do I need to worry about lengthening the 02 wires and moving them to another location? no the 02 sensors are before and after the catalytic converter and has nothing to do with the downpipe.

A long extension on a wratchet takes out the 3 screws that hold the stock downpipe in place, any shop should have the tools to do that.
Remove the three screws and have them cut off your existing flange on your current system if need be.
Bolt in the Downpipe, you should know be left with the downpipe leading to the flange, make sure the blue gasket you recieved is in between the downpipe flange and the extension flange, bolt the three bolts together, weld the 3-4 inch extension to your current DP back system. If the system is anything but 2.5" the peice will be need to be flared up or down, which any muffle shop can do, either it will be increased to fit a 2.75 inch system or it will be decreased to fit the 60mm system.
