Are SSR Competitions forged, if not.......

not sure about the comps, but the rest of SSR's wheels are "semi-forged".
I don't know if that's the proper term, but I think what they do is pressure casting, which yeilds results similar to forging. I'm sure someone else knows more...

'Warm Forged' I believe? (m)
SSR has a procedure they use, which I believe is called Warm Forging. Basically it's not cast, but it isn't forged with the same pressure as other wheels. They warm the metal up some, but not enough to melt, and then forge the wheel. This way they can make a somewhat lower cost wheel that is still pretty good quality. This is what I remember when I was shopping for SSR Integrals on my Jetta. Now I'm shopping for SSR Competitions for my A4. Smoking hot wheels
