Starting e-code install now - should I disconnect Battery just to be safe?

Default I always disconnect teh battery when working under the hood or under the car. You never know and it
isn't all that hard to pop in the radio code.

Default i wouldn't worry bout it. but if you do, remember to do the throttle adaption
put key in, turn to ignition for ~30 seconds BEFORE STARTING CAR. word.
