starting problem
Just recently when I tried to start the car, it would start but bog down and die right away. I tried starting the car a number of times and finally it stayed on after about 15 tries. I recently had my throttle body cleaned. I also just had it hooked up to a VAG and the only fault I got had to do with the throttle valve. We did the adaptation, cleared the code and everything was fine.
The starting problem doesn't happen everytime I try to start the car though. What else could this be? Thanks for your help!

What was the number for the fault code? Assuming it was mixture adaptation / adaptation limit (which is why you changed your throttle valve?), then clearing fault will probably not resolve problem. Depending on the code, you may be running extreme lean or rich (limit exceeded). So, your issues may be related to fuel mixture (esp. if you are chipped). How's your vac line going to your FPR? Ignition coils?
